The predicted salary is between 12 - 12 £ per hour.

Location: Beckenham, BR3 (office-based)

Salary: National Minimum Wage to start (rate depends on age), with clear progression as you grow into the role

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 16:30

Contract: Permanent

About us

We are Wild Science. We bring animals and hands-on science workshops to schools, nurseries, care homes and birthday parties right across the UK. When we turn up, the day gets better. That's the whole business. We are small, we are growing fast, and we are looking for the next person to join the team in our Beckenham office.

About the role

This is a proper foot-in-the-door role for someone who wants to learn how a real business actually runs. You won't be making the tea. You'll be talking to customers, owning a customer list, and helping us turn enquiries into bookings.

A typical day:

  • Answering the phone to customers booking parties and workshops.
  • Replying to enquiries that come in by email.
  • Owning our care home accounts.
  • Helping keep the diary full.
  • General office support for the rest of the team.

Who we are looking for

Honestly, we are looking for potential more than experience. We will teach you everything you need to know. What we cannot teach is who you are. We need someone who:

  • Is genuinely friendly on the phone.
  • Is comfortable picking up the phone to make calls.
  • Is reliable.
  • Wants to learn how this all works.
  • Can use a computer well enough to type an email and learn a new booking system.
