Wild Science brings live animals and science workshops to schools, nurseries, care homes, and families across the UK. It is handsâon, purposeful work â every session we deliver is a genuinely memorable experience for a child, a resident, or a family.
We are looking for someone to join our small office team in Beckenham, working closely with one other colleague in a calm, friendly environment. You will be the first point of contact for people getting in touch to enquire about our services â by email and by phone. Your job is to understand what they need, give them a clear, helpful answer, and guide them towards making a booking. You will also take care of existing customers as their booking approaches, handling questions, changes, and payments with a personal and professional touch.
Alongside this, you will take ownership of a new project: building and maintaining a database of care homes across the UK, reaching out to activities coordinators, and offering our care home sessions.
What We Are Looking ForYou will be well suited to this role if you communicate clearly and warmly, enjoy talking to people, and take pride in doing things properly. You do not need a sales background â what matters is that you are organised, reliable, and genuinely interested in helping the person on the other end of the phone or email get what they need.
Experience in any customerâfacing or officeâbased role is an advantage. An interest in animals, science, education, or working with children/the elderly would be a bonus, though not essential.
The EnvironmentYou will be working as part of a small, closeâknit office team. If you are looking for a role where your contribution is visible, your day is varied, and you are trusted to get on with things independently, this is a good fit.
