We're seeking an experienced people leader with a strong technical background to join our client's Service Division as a Regional Operations Manager. This role is ideal for someone who has progressed from a hands-on engineering or technical role into managing and developing field-based teams, ideally within hospitality, building services, or fixtures/fittings environments.

The Role

Covering South London & the South East, you'll lead a team of Installation & Service Technicians, driving service performance, team development, and operational standards across your region. This is a field-based role involving regular site visits and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a mobile team of technicians
  • Drive regional performance and service delivery
  • Conduct 1:1s, reviews, and on-site support
  • Manage performance, training, and development
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and quality

About You

  • Background in field service/engineering (5+ years hands-on)
  • Experience managing remote or field-based teams
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience in hospitality, building services, or similar
  • Solid technical knowledge (electrical/mechanical preferred)
