We're working with a market-leading service provider within the commercial equipment sector, supporting high-profile hospitality and food service environments across the UK. They are now looking to appoint a Regional Service Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of field-based Service & Installation Technicians across South London & the South East. This role is suited to someone who has progressed from a hands-on service or engineering role into leadership, with experience in fast-paced, customer-driven environments such as hospitality, catering equipment, or facilities services.
The Role
You'll take full ownership of regional service delivery, leading a team of mobile technicians to ensure outstanding customer experience, rapid response times, and high-quality technical standards. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll regularly be out in the field supporting your team, engaging with customers, and driving performance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of field-based Service & Installation Technicians
- Driving service performance, productivity, and first-time fix rates
- Supporting engineers on-site and acting as the escalation point for key customer issues
- Embedding a strong customer-first culture across your region
- Conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans
- Ensuring high standards of service delivery within a fast-paced, reactive environment
