We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join our client’s team on a fixed-term basis.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll lead purchasing, supplier management, stock control, and transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and procurement activities from sourcing through to supplier performance management.
- Negotiate with suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor stock levels and support operational planning.
- Oversee transport operations, vehicle scheduling, and route planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and transport regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing & Transport Assistant.
- Produce regular reports on purchasing, stock, and transport performance.
About You
- At least one year experience in a purchasing role.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with ERP systems
