Wild Recruitment are looking for Recycling Operatives who would be interested in covering on a temporary basis for a busy waste and recycling company in Tipner, Portsmouth. This is for an immediate start to cover approx 3 weeks work with the possibility of an extension.
The Job:
- Working on a picking line, sorting through commercial and domestic rubbish from skips.
- Separating wood, metal and plastic into bins.
- Lifting, moving and loading materials safely.
- Ensuring materials meet recycling standards before processing.
- Wearing PPE, reporting hazards, and working safely around plant machinery.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work night shifts.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting as some manual handling may be involved.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
