We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting advanced robotics and automation solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about technology and problem-solving in the injection moulding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission robots and automation cells.
- Perform service work and preventative maintenance.
- Provide breakdown assistance onsite and via telephone.
- Program and test new installations; modify existing systems.
- Deliver onsite and remote customer training.
- Maintain accurate communication records and adhere to Health & Safety standards.
- Support additional tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
About You:
- Strong knowledge of the injection moulding industry and automation systems.
- Experience with robotics (electrical engineering bias preferred).
- PLC programming experience is an advantage.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify automation and robot issues.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK, Ireland, and to France for training.
