Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative Location: Milton Keynes (MK19 7BH) Pay Rate: £22.50 per hour Contract: Short term assignment (Approx. 6 Weeks) with Potential Extension or Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team at their prestigious site based at MK19 Working across several buildings on site, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and engineering tasks, ensuring facilities remain safe, operational and compliant. A strong plumbing background is essential, particularly in supporting leak investigations and heating-related issues, alongside a broad maintenance skill set. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve plumbing issues, including leaks and minor repair works Support heating system maintenance and fault finding Carry out general building maintenance and mechanical repairs Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks where required Respond to reactive maintenance requests across the site Assist with porterage duties and movement of equipment as needed Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all timesAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role Strong plumbing skills with the ability to complete basic plumbing works independently Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability Basic electrical knowledge A proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance Good communication skills and the ability to work within a secure environmentIf this role sounds of interest, please apply today and we will contact you directly to discuss the position in more detail.
