We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembler/Wireperson to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Milton Keynes on a 3-month temporary assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in control panel wiring and mechanical assembly who is looking for a hands-on role within a professional engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly and build of electrical control panels.
- Wiring and fitting components to control panels and associated equipment.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Installing and connecting electrical components accurately to specification.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure builds meet company and customer standards.
- Working from engineering drawings, build instructions and technical documentation.
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
- Supporting production targets while ensuring high levels of workmanship.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Wireperson, Panel Wirer, or similar electrical assembly role.
- Proven experience mechanically building and wiring control panels.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret schematic drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
