They are seeking a detail-oriented Import Coordinator to manage international shipments from origin to destination.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Handle end-to-end import operations across sea, air, and road freight
- Liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and customs to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare and process import documentation
- Monitor shipments, update clients, and resolve delays or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with HMRC and international trade regulations
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with shipment milestones
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth handover to warehousing or final delivery
What You\\\’ll Bring:
- Experience in freight forwarding or import logistics (1-3 years ideal)
- Strong knowledge of Imports and customs procedures
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Familiarity with freight software (e.g. CargoWise, ASM, or similar)
- Must have experience with CDS
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a keen eye for detail
