We are seeking a confident and resilient HR Business Partner / HR Advisor to join an established HR function supporting an environmentally focused, values‑led organisation. This is a stand‑alone HR role working across different sites, working closely with a wider HR team based elsewhere. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide day‑to‑day HR support across a fast‑paced business of circa 600 employees, acting as a trusted adviser to managers and employees to approx 300 employees across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the site‑based HR lead, working confidently and independently
  • Provide practical, legally compliant HR advice to managers and employees
  • Supporting the sites to manage employee relations matters including absence, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Support recruitment activity across the business, including shortlisting and interviews

About You

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor / HR Officer / HR Business Partner role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Confident, resilient and comfortable working autonomously
  • Experienced in advising managers at all levels
  • Organised, professional and solutions‑focused
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required
