Wild Recruitment are looking to recruit HGV Refuse drivers in the Hedge End area who are interested in driving refuse trucks to collect household waste. This HGV Refuse Driver role is temporary at £17ph on Umbrella. Shifts run Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm.
What you will be doing as a HGV Refuse driver:
- Driving a Class 2 Refuse truck to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
- Working as part of a 3 man crew.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Complying with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.
What we need from you for this HGV Refuse driver role:
- Current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC.
- The ability to undertake heavy lifting as you may need to assist with loading of the vehicle.
- Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team.
- Attendance and passing of a driving assessment before starting this role.
- Newly qualified HGV drivers can apply as no experience needed - full induction and training given.
