Wild Recruitment are looking for Class 2 HGV Drivers for a family run food wholesaler and manufacturer based in Sherborne. If you're looking for consistent weekday work with great pay and full training, this could be the role for you. This role has the potential to become temp to perm!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- An average of 15-25 drops per day, sometimes more in peak months.
- Picking frozen, chilled and ambient goods from pallets.
- Deliveries using sack trucks.
- Completing delivery paperwork and handheld.
- Completing deliveries in a safe and professional manner.
- Understanding and adhering to the route schedule.
- Filling in check sheets and reporting any defects.
- Informing the depot of any delivery delays or instances whilst on route.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 2 HGV licence, CPC, and digital tacho card.
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
- A proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service.
