We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and previous experience inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect powder-coated components and finished products for quality, appearance, and finish.
- Check coating thickness, coverage, colour consistency, and overall surface quality.
- Identify and report defects including runs, scratches, contamination, orange peel, and other coating imperfections.
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
- Complete quality documentation and inspection records accurately.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within a manufacturing environment.
- No need to have previous experience inspecting in powder coating
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
