Monday to Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 12:30
Join Our Quality Team
We are seeking a detail-oriented FAIR Inspector to join our clients Quality department in Havant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and quality inspection processes who is looking to contribute to a high-performing manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 requirements
- Generate and maintain FAIR data packs using inspection software
- Review supplier FAIR documentation for compliance with AS9102
- Manage FAIR schedules in line with production requirements
- Communicate FAIR completion status to customers
- Conduct dimensional inspections using calibrated measuring equipment
- Support wider inspection activities when required, including:
- Goods Inwards Inspection
- Repairs and Returns (incoming and final inspection)
- Final Assembly Inspection
About You
- You will ideally have:
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Good computer literacy and confidence using quality systems
- Experience with First Article Inspection processes (AS9102) desirable
- Knowledge of Net-Inspect and/or DISCUS software would be advantageous
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
