We are on the look out for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join a busy distribution company in the Portsmouth / Hilsea area. With a variety of shifts available, from day shifts, night shifts (no nights out!) and weekend availability! Choose what works best for you!
Pay: Minimum of 10 hours a day paid.
- Days (Mon-Fri) £18ph
- Nights (Mon-Fri) £20ph
- Saturday day £19ph
- Sunday day £21ph
- Saturday night £21ph
- Sunday night £22ph

What you will be doing:
- Driving a refrigerated Class 1 vehicle
- You will be motorway driving majority of the time
- Delivering a range of products and services to retailers and wholesalers across the nation.
- To accurately complete all documentation required by the Company and the customer.
- Ensuring that all Company rules and regulations and compliance with legislation is always achieved.
- Occasional manual handling involved
What we need from you as a HGV 1 Driver:
- A Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E
- Valid in date Digi Tacho card and CPC
- A minimum of 1 year of Class 1 HGV driving experience
- Ability to pass an assessment prior to starting
The assessment: You will be required to undertake a 2-day assessment (4 hours a day) before starting work with this company. The first day will include a highways code assessment as well as a driving assessment. The second day will include an overview of operations and what is expected from you.
