We're working with a market-leading service provider within the commercial equipment sector, supporting high-profile hospitality and food service environments across the UK. They are now looking to appoint a Regional Service Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of field-based Service & Installation Technicians across South London & the South East.

This role is suited to someone who has progressed from a hands-on service or engineering role into leadership, with experience in fast-paced, customer-driven environments such as hospitality, catering equipment, or facilities services.

The Role

  • You'll take full ownership of regional service delivery, leading a team of mobile technicians to ensure outstanding customer experience, rapid response times, and high-quality technical standards.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role, where you'll regularly be out in the field supporting your team, engaging with customers, and driving performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of field-based Service & Installation Technicians
  • Driving service performance, productivity, and first-time fix rates
  • Supporting engineers on-site and acting as the escalation point for key customer issues
  • Embedding a strong customer-first culture across your region
  • Conducting regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and development plans
  • Ensuring high standards of service delivery within a fast-paced, reactive environment

About You

  • You'll bring a balance of technical understanding and people leadership, ideally from a hospitality-facing service environment.
  • Background in field service or engineering (5+ years)
  • Experience managing mobile or field-based teams
  • Proven ability to lead in a customer-driven, service-led industry
  • Experience within hospitality equipment, catering, vending, coffee, EPOS, or similar is highly desirable
  • Strong coaching, leadership, and performance management skills
  • Solid mechanical/electrical understanding
