We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day operation of a busy school kitchen in Croydon. This is a term time only role, 25 hours a week, and is a long term, ongoing assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils
  • Wash dishes, trays, and catering equipment promptly during and after service
  • Assist with basic food preparation (e.g. washing, peeling, portioning)
  • Support the catering team during service period as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment desirable but not essential
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
