We're recruiting a Commercial Development Executive to join a busy, fast‑paced logistics environment where relationships, pricing and commercial thinking sit at the heart of the role. This is a hands‑on position, well suited to someone who enjoys working closely with customers and operational teams, spotting opportunities and turning them into long‑term business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing and developing customer relationships
  • Identifying new business opportunities and following up quotes
  • Preparing and checking pricing, including negotiating rates where needed
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitoring customer performance, volumes and trends
  • Keeping CRM and customer records accurate and up to date
  • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial colleagues when required

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a commercial, sales or customer‑focused role
  • Confidence with pricing, quoting or rate negotiations
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, organised approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, operational environment
  • Logistics or freight experience is beneficial, but not essential
