We are currently recruiting for a Site Services Operative to join a busy site in Bletchley, Milton Keynes on a short‑term temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily stock checks and ordering of sanitary and kitchen consumables
- Upkeep of interior cleanliness across the site, including studio areas
- Two‑hourly checks of all toilet facilities to replenish consumables and maintain cleanliness
- Regular interior window cleaning, including sills and frames
- Hoovering and cleaning of hard floors and carpets, including skirting boards
- Thorough daily kitchen cleaning, including replenishment of washing liquids, cloths, etc.
- Daily cleaning of meeting rooms (wiping chairs and tables, removing rubbish)
- Canteen cleaning after lunch periods: emptying bins, cleaning tables and chairs, and hoovering/washing floors
- Twice‑daily cleaning of microwaves and fridges in all areas (no food removal)
- Daily checks of vending machines, cleaning fronts and reporting faults to engineers where required
- Use of compactor and baler when necessary
- Regular deep cleaning of carpets in shared areas
- Promptly clearing spillages to prevent health and safety hazards
- Maintenance of ESD flooring within electronics areas
- Managing separate recycling in line with company policies
- Site‑wide refuse collection and disposal
- Assisting with exterior cleaning when required
- Supporting with various administrative duties as requested by the line manager
