Wild Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 2 Refuse drivers in the Portsmouth area who are interested in driving refuse trucks to collect household waste. This Class 2 Refuse Driver role is temporary.
Shifts are Monday – Friday, 6.30am to 4pm.
What you will be doing as a HGV Class 2 Refuse driver:
- Driving a Class 2 Refuse truck to collect waste from residential and commercial properties.
- Working as part of a 2 or 3 man crew.
- You will need to carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- You must comply with health and safety procedures and policies at all times.
What we need from you for this HGV Class 2 Refuse driver role:
- Current C LGV Licence and valid Drivers CPC and DQC.
- The ability to undertake heavy lifting as you may need to assist with loading of the vehicle.
- Ready to take the initiative and work as part of a team.
- You will need to have held your licence for a minimum of 1 year for this role.
