The SEO Content Specialist will be a creative and analytical thinker who strikes the balance of writing high-quality content that is optimised to engage and convert users.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of how all pillars of SEO (technical, onsite, content and authority) impact the success of online content. The role requires strategic planning to ensure that content not only ranks highly in the search results but also delivers real value to audiences.

This is an ideal opportunity for content professionals who have a keen eye for analysing keyword data, love writing, and can develop on-site and campaign content that turns search intent into results.

  • Plan, write, and optimise on-site content and campaign copy that drives relevant traffic to our clients’ websites across their landing pages and blogs.
  • Consider SEO best practice and user experience when crafting content to deliver on the client's objectives.
  • Use industry tools to conduct keyword research, identify gaps, and inform briefs to improve SEO performance.
  • Conduct on-site audits and identify optimisation opportunities (titles, metas, internal links), or for content removal, or utilisation across other platforms.
  • Utilise data insights to lead content ideation sessions supporting the PR process to amplify PR campaigns and enhance SEO performance.
  • Analyse content performance and ability to deliver results in client reporting, while providing strategic recommendations for ongoing activity.
  • Liaising with clients to ensure smooth management of accounts and presenting at client meetings.
  • Ensuring project management tools, such as Productive, and housekeeping on client folders and documentation are up to date.
  • Undertake at least one weekly backlink review for client press coverage, which may not have been picked up during media monitoring.
  • Competitor analysis to support the ongoing performance of client accounts.
  • Working alongside the wider team to maximise driving traffic to onsite content.
  • Managing the continued optimisation for the Wild PR website.
  • Mentoring junior team members to support their professional development.

At least three to four years of experience in an SEO/content-related role.

Experience using SEO tools such as SERanking, SEMRUSH, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.

Demonstrate strong research skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex topics through your content.

Understanding of how different marketing channels work together to deliver results.

Excellent written skills as the role will involve a primary focus on content writing.

Adaptable writing style for different clients.
