We are looking for a reliable and proactive Production Operative to ensure that outgoing products are accurately processed and external and internal requirements are met, before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for packing, labelling, and filling our products with a very high level of attention to detail. Actively involved with fulfilling all our internal/external business needs. Customer delight is key with this role and the ideal candidate will be passionate about providing a very high standard.

What you’ll be doing:
- Operate jar and pouch filling machinery in accordance with SOPs and training
- Assist with setup, changeovers, and shutdown of filling lines
- Ensure jars, pouches, lids, scoops, labels, and packaging materials are correctly prepared and available for production
- Monitor product flow, fill weights, and sealing to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage or contamination
- Perform in-process quality checks such as weight checks, seal integrity, batch code/expiry verification, and visual inspections
- Ensure all filled jars and pouches meet Wild Nutrition quality and presentation standards
- Accurately complete batch documentation, checklists, and traceability records
- Immediately report any deviation or quality concern to the Team Leader/Production Supervisor/Line Manager
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
- Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean, organised work area and support routine cleaning of machinery and production spaces
- Safely handle ingredients and packaging materials
- Work collaboratively with production colleagues to meet daily and weekly targets
- Communicate effectively with the Supervisor about issues, delays, or improvement opportunities
Please note: the working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 14:00-22:00.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in production, food manufacturing, supplements (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to operate basic machinery and follow technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail, especially with weights, labelling, and product appearance
- Proven reliability experience
- Excellent numerical skills and understanding of displayed data
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
- Outstanding communication skills
