Recently taken over by Sam and Georgie, founders of the hospitality group Country Creatures, the inn has been thoughtfully revived with a focus on warmth, comfort, elevated pub dining, and exceptional guest experience. Role Overview
The Wild Duck is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the daily cleaning and upkeep of the venue. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring that all guest-facing and staff areas are kept clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times, contributing to a consistently high standard of presentation throughout the inn.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning of the venue, including public areas, dining spaces, restrooms, and staff areas.
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the management team.
- Support the wider housekeeping team as required during busy periods.
- Maintain a professional, discreet, and friendly presence within the venue.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
