Position Overview: We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, results-driven Head of Production to lead our Production function and play a key role within our Senior Leadership Team. Working closely with our Design, Projects and Installation teams, you’ll help turn ambitious creative concepts into practical, deliverable solutions. You’ll oversee production across our Construction and Scenic Workshops, supporting projects from early planning and feasibility through to fabrication and handover for installation. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll provide clear direction to the Production team, develop effective ways of working and ensure production activity is well planned, coordinated and progressing to agreed project timescales, while maintaining the high standards of quality and craftsmanship Wild Creations is known for. You’ll be someone who can balance creativity with practicality, anticipate challenges and find solutions, while supporting your team and continually looking for ways to improve how we work.

What You'll be Doing:
- Playing a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the direction and continued growth of the business.
- Working closely with the Design, Projects and Installation teams to ensure creative concepts can be translated into practical, achievable production plans.
- Contributing to project feasibility, advising on materials, methods, timescales, resources and costs, and establishing realistic production plans to support successful project delivery.
- Lead and manage the Production team across both the Construction and Scenic Workshops, providing clear direction and support.
- Plan and coordinate production activity across the Construction and Scenic Workshops, setting priorities, allocating resources and monitoring progress to ensure work stays on track and project milestones are met.
- Develop effective ways of working that keep production organised, efficient and responsive, while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship Wild Creations is known for.
- Support and develop the Production team, building skills, encouraging accountability and maintaining consistent standards.
- Work with colleagues across the business to ensure information is shared clearly and projects move smoothly from design through production to installation.
- Identify and resolve production challenges early, finding practical solutions that protect quality, timescales and project requirements.
- Manage production budgets and resources responsibly, balancing cost, quality and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe, well-organised working environment and ensure appropriate Health & Safety standards and practices are followed.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and strengthen the overall effectiveness of the Production function.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience leading production or fabrication in scenic build, events, theme parks, exhibitions or similar.
- Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods and workshop processes.
- A confident leader who can organise, motivate and inspire a team.
- Highly organised, with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects, manage competing priorities and keep production activity on track against deadlines.
- Calm, solutions-focused and confident in managing complex, fast-moving projects.
- Commercial awareness and a strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources.
- A genuine passion for creating world-class, immersive environments.
- A Lean Six Sigma qualification – green or black belt – is desirable.
- Proficiency in relevant production management software and systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
