Wild Cairns is a premier outdoor activity center located in the picturesque East Lothian countryside, specializing in creating exceptional corporate team-building experiences. Our wide range of activities includes engaging challenges such as assault courses, axe throwing, and airsoft gun range shooting with zombie targets—all designed to improve teamwork and communication. Our mission is to guide teams through fun yet purposeful adventures that help them push boundaries, uncover hidden strengths, and build deeper connections.
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Activity Instructor located in North Berwick. The Activity Instructor will facilitate a variety of outdoor activities including assault courses, axe throwing, and airsoft challenges. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and engagement of participants
- Providing guidance and instructions
- Promoting teamwork through interactive activities
- Setting up and maintaining equipment
- Tailoring activities to client needs
- Contributing to creating a positive and energetic atmosphere for all participants
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in outdoor activity instruction, including team-building exercises and physical challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and guide diverse teams
- Ability to assess and ensure the safety of all participants and follow safety protocols
- Experience in customer service and delivering high-quality activities tailored to client objectives
- Training or experience in leisure, outdoor education, or recreation is advantageous
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification
