Our client is seeking a talented Management Accountant to support its continued growth across a dynamic, multi-site environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys partnering with operational teams and influencing financial performance in a fast-paced, service-led business. Key Responsibilities
- Management Accounts & Reporting
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple sites
- Deliver clear variance analysis with insight into occupancy, revenue, costs, and profitability
- Support month-end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain strong financial integrity and alignment with Group reporting standards
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts across all divisions
- Work closely with General Managers and Operations to understand revenue drivers and cost pressures
- Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for pricing, new site openings, and investment decisions
- Commercial & Operational Analysis
- Analyse revenue, occupancy, margins, and KPIs to identify performance opportunities
- Support commercial teams with pricing, renewals, and profitability analysis
- Provide actionable insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and service excellence
- Business Partnering
- Build strong relationships with Operations, Sales, Client Experience, and Senior Leadership
- Present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Support the Finance Director with strategic initiatives, investment appraisals, and performance improvement projects
- Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives using technology
- Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational accountability
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Bright part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA preferred; CIMA considered)
- Strong experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly
- High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
- Desirable
- Experience with ERP/finance systems (NetSuite, Dynamics, Xero)
- Exposure to budgeting and forecasting in multi-entity or multi-location businesses
