Our client is seeking a professional, organised and proactive individual to join their busy London office on a temporary basis. This role is expected to run until the end of September, with the possibility of being extended. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a welcoming and fast-paced environment where you'll be at the centre of daily operations, supporting staff, visitors and students while ensuring the smooth running of a busy office.

The Role

As the first point of contact for the organisation, you will provide exceptional front-of-house service and administrative support. You will be responsible for managing reception, coordinating visitors, supporting office operations and assisting various departments with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors, staff, students and contractors to the office
  • Managing reception and answering incoming calls
  • Monitoring access to the building and ensuring security procedures are followed
  • Handling deliveries and maintaining visitor records
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and meeting room setup
  • Providing general administrative support across departments
  • Organising interviews and supporting recruitment administration
  • Assisting with event planning and visitor arrangements
  • Maintaining office, stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Liaising with contractors, housekeeping and facilities teams
  • Supporting health and safety procedures and office communications
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and office administration as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous receptionist or front-of-house experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • A professional, friendly and confident manner
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and multitask effectively
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using new systems

Working Hours

Monday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

Please note that occasional flexibility may be required to support evening events and operational requirements.
