Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Front of House Receptionist to join their busy Workplace Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys being at the centre of a professional office environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workplace, delivering an exceptional experience for employees, visitors, and external partners.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing a varied workload while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and contractors and managing site access arrangements
  • Coordinating visitor registrations and access passes
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
  • Arranging business travel in line with company policies
  • Operating the office switchboard and handling general enquiries
  • Managing meeting room bookings and supporting meeting setup requirements
  • Providing hospitality support for meetings and events, including refreshments where required
  • Assisting with office events and workplace activities
  • Monitoring and replenishing office supplies and workplace provisions
  • Providing general administrative support across the business
  • Reporting and monitoring building maintenance issuesliaising with building management and external service providers
  • Supporting workplace health, safety, and compliance activities
  • Assisting with document, archive, and records management
  • Providing occasional support to wider business support functions
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of workplace and facilities services

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, Workplace Services, Facilities, or Office Support role
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • A professional, friendly, and approachable manner
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
  • The ability to communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Front of House or Reception position within a professional office environment
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
