The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for the day to day delivery of Wild at Heart’s social media activity and wider marketing support. This is a hands on role focused on community management, content publishing, creator activity, live coverage, social reporting and support for campaigns and activations. The role works closely with the Senior Marketing and Content Manager, who will lead the overall social strategy, creative direction and content planning. This role is based in our Head Office in Battersea.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social media delivery
    • Manage the daily running of Wild at Heart’s social media channels.
    • Schedule and publish content in line with the agreed content calendar.
    • Write captions, Stories, community prompts and platform appropriate copy.
    • Create and edit supporting Reels, Stories, short form video and reactive content.
    • Maintain social content libraries, publishing schedules, asset folders and trackers.
    • Monitor social trends, competitor activity and relevant cultural moments.
  • Community management
    • Manage comments, direct messages, customer questions, tagged content and community engagement.
    • Respond in a timely, thoughtful and on brand manner.
    • Escalate customer service issues, complaints or sensitive messages where required.
    • Build relationships with customers, followers, local community partners and creators.
    • Identify opportunities to reshare customer content, gifting moments, events and user generated content.
  • Creator and influencer activity
    • Coordinate influencer gifting, creator outreach and follow up.
    • Maintain creator lists, gifting trackers, contact details and content records.
    • Support the briefing of creators and ensure agreed content is received and correctly credited.
    • Identify strong creator and user generated content for potential reposting or reuse.
    • Support reporting on creator activity, reach, engagement and campaign results.
  • Activations and events
    • Support marketing activations at The Island and other Wild at Heart locations.
    • Attend relevant events, partnerships, shoots and activations to capture social content and support live coverage.
    • Assist with creator hosting, gifting, signage, customer engagement and content coordination.
    • Work with the Senior Marketing and Content Manager to ensure each activation has a clear social plan.
  • Wider marketing support
    • Support campaign launches across social, CRM, ecommerce and partnerships.
    • Assist with content uploads, asset preparation, copy checks and campaign coordination.
    • Support social reporting, marketing trackers and campaign timelines.
    • Help maintain the wider marketing calendar and ensure tasks are delivered on time.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in social media, marketing, content creation or influencer coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and short form video content.
  • Comfortable filming and editing content using tools such as CapCut, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong writing skills and confidence communicating with customers and creators.
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable in a fast moving environment.
  • Interest in flowers, fashion, interiors, beauty, hospitality, lifestyle or design.
  • Comfortable working on site at events, activations and retail locations.
