Caretaker Salary: SFCA Support Staff Pay Scale Points 12-14 (Β£29,544 - Β£31,324 per annum) Hours: 37 hours per week, full year (early / late shift rota) Holiday: 26 days annual leave plus Bank and Public Holidays

Wilberforce Sixth Form College is looking for a reliable, proactive and enthusiastic Caretaker to join our Estates Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The role operates on an alternating early and late shift rota. (Early shift is 05:20 to 13:10 / Late shift is 10:50 to 18:40 Monday to Thursday. Fridays are 05:20 to 12:40 / 10:50 to 18:10). Some flexibility will also be required to support college events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening and securing the college site
  • Carrying out general maintenance and caretaking duties
  • Supporting the upkeep, safety and presentation of college facilities
  • Assisting with college events and the hire of facilities when required
