Wilabb is an established precision engineering manufacturer based in Camberley, Surrey, producing complex, high-precision components for Formula 1, Aerospace and Defence. We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller who enjoys technically challenging one-off and small-batch work.
The Role
- As a CNC Miller, you will take components from drawing and CAM programming through to setting, machining and inspection.
- Working with Hurco 3, 4 and 5-axis machines, your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Creating and optimising Fusion 360 CAM programs, including multi-axis strategies.
- Machining complex components to demanding tolerances and surface finishes.
- Selecting tooling, cutters and cutting parameters.
- Reading engineering drawings, 3D models and GD&T.
- Inspecting your own work and completing quality checks.
- Managing priorities and meeting production deadlines.
About You
The successful CNC Miller will have precision engineering experience, ideally within a subcontract environment, and be confident working independently from start to finish. We are looking for a CNC Miller with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience with demanding tolerances, varied materials and ISO 9001 standards. A proactive CNC Miller who takes pride in quality and continuous improvement will thrive here.
