About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Production Operative to join our team in South Leeds, working within our printing ink and coating operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned company offering excellent benefits and long-term career prospects.

We supply customers across the UK and Europe, including Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, and Poland. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative, supportive team and are looking for someone who can work independently while contributing positively to a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coating batch production (weighing, mixing, and filling)
  • Quality control of batches, including colour matching
  • Order picking and dispatch
  • Booking batch tickets into electronic system
  • General warehouse duties
  • Covering off-site in-plant responsibilities when required

About You

We are looking for a reliable, conscientious individual with strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage their time effectively.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to understand customer requirements
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience in batch manufacturing or the chemicals industry
  • Counterbalance forklift experience (Full training will be given).
