Salary: £27,200 + Overtime + Bonus + Benefits

Full Time - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: South Leeds, LS11 5LQ

Some overtime will be required.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting an experienced Production Operative to join our team in South Leeds, working within our printing ink and coating operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned company offering excellent benefits and long-term career prospects.

Wikoff Colour is an employee-owned printing ink and coating company, established in the UK in March 2011. We supply customers across the UK and Europe, including Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, and Poland. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative, supportive team and are looking for someone who can work independently while contributing positively to a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coating batch production (weighing, mixing, and filling)
  • Quality control of batches, including colour matching
  • Order picking and dispatch
  • Booking batch tickets into electronic system
  • General warehouse duties
  • Covering off-site in-plant responsibilities when required

About You

We are looking for a reliable, conscientious individual with strong teamwork skills and the ability to manage their time effectively.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to understand customer requirements
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience in batch manufacturing or the chemicals industry
  • Counterbalance forklift experience (Full training will be given).
