About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a yard worker in Norwich at our North Heigham Sawmill on Paddock Street.
Its a busy, practical role that will suit someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors and getting stuck in.
The job involves loading and unloading vehicles, serving customers, picking orders, general yard duties, as well as some sawmill and counter sales work.
This is a full time, permanent role. Some limited overtime may need to be undertaken on occasion, so flexibility is key.
This is a rare opportunity that offers competitive pay, as well as the potential for development for the right candidate.
Elements of the job are physical and some heavy lifting and carrying will be a requirement.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- yard work experience, preferably in a trade or timber environment
- a forklift truck licence
- health and safety training including a first aid qualification

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of mathematical and literacy skills, as the role involves accurate measuring and documentation completion.
