We are looking for Learning Support Assistants. Full / Part time positions available (Fixed term until 19th Aug 2026) to start as soon as possible. Working hours are 8.45am β 3.30pm with Β½ hour lunch, 39 weeks per year (Term time + 1 week training hours). Salary = Grade 5, Point 7 -8 depending on experience.
We are looking for a practitioner who is:
- Suitably qualified and committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated (NVQ 3; or equivalent qualification is an essential requirement).
- A flexible and adaptable team player able to use their own initiative.
- Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to nurture warm and positive relationships with children and their families.
- Confident when working with a range of professionals.
- Capable of approaching challenges with determination and resilience.
- Committed to delivering high quality and playful, inclusive early learning experiences for children of all abilities.
- Experienced at working within the Early Years Foundation Stage and supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities (or is willing to develop skills in these areas).
- Willing and able, with training, to undertake physical aspects of this role such as moving, handling and toileting.
- Experienced in meeting the needs of complex learners.
