The Governance Professional will provideadvice and guidance to the governing board on governance, constitutional andprocedural matters. This professional clerk role will contribute towards theefficient functioning a governing board and its committees by providing:
- administrativeand organisational support;
- guidanceto ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal andregulatory framework, and understands the potential consequences fornon-compliance; and
- adviceon procedural matters relating to the operation of the board.
This rolewould suit someone who already has experience in a similar role or is highlyorganised and up to date with current guidance and is prepared to make acommitment to attend the National Training Programme for Clerks or itsequivalent.
Qualifications and Training
ESSENTIAL
