Senior Design Technology Technician

WigmoreAcademy Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated DesignTechnology Technician to provide support for the staff and pupils in the Designand Technology department. You would be joining an established and friendlyteam in a popular and high achieving school.

Basedat the High School you would be responsible to the Head of Science and Design Technology inco-ordinating the use of, and development of, practical resources andfacilities, including the provision of guidance and support in meeting thepractical requirement of the DT curriculum, as well as liaising with all areasof the school and outside organisations.

ESSENTIAL

Qualifications

  • Appropriate qualifications at Level 2 and above whichdemonstrate the capability of managing a practical school environment

DESIRABLE

  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • English and maths at Grade C/4 or above at GCSE
  • First Aid certificate

ESSENTIAL

Experience

  • Experience of practical technology equipment

DESIRABLE

  • Experience of working with children
  • Experience of working in a design technology environment
