We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, competent and caring individual to join our team. You will support teaching staff by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring pupils and reporting on progress during short term teacher absence. Other responsibilities will include administration tasks and accompanying school trips. Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
The post is for 31 hours per week Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year, term time plus 5 training days. The hours of attendance will be 8.30am to 3.30pm daily plus 1 weekly after school meeting - these timings include a lunch time unpaid break of one hour every day.
Applicants for this public facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice, fluently in spoken English and demonstrate a basic level of numeracy. Willingness to undertake First Aid training and to apply this in the school.
