About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Support Analyst to join our Business Applications & Data Delivery Team. In this role, you’ll triage and troubleshoot application and data issues, support our users, and contribute to the configuration, development and maintenance of the systems that keep WightFibre running smoothly. You’ll work across our HERO platform — built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, the Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure, and supporting cloud services — and play a key part in ensuring data quality, operational efficiency and user satisfaction. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, learning modern cloud technologies, and wants to grow into a more technical or developer-focused role over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as first-line support for Business Applications & Data queries, issues and requests
- Troubleshooting and triaging user/system issues, escalating or converting into development backlog items
- Supporting analysis and reporting of data to provide insight and business intelligence
- Assuring the quality, security and integrity of data across multiple repositories
- Working with the Delivery Team on HERO platform enhancements, integrations and new features
- Supporting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform configuration, maintenance and development
- Assisting with workflow automation, scripts, processes and cross-system integrations
- Following and championing change-control processes
- Supporting scheduled maintenance, upgrades and compliance activities
- Ensuring licensing, access, security and backups remain accurate and compliant
- Working closely with IT, Systems & Security, and Network Operations where systems intersect
- Delivering user training, support, advice and feedback
- Upholding data privacy, security and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
Essential- Logical, methodical approach to troubleshooting
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to follow and understand business processes
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Enthusiasm for learning Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure
- Ability to represent technical issues in ways non-technical users can understand
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Dynamics 365)
- Awareness of Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrations
- Exposure to Azure components (Logic Apps, API Management, API Connections, DevOps)
- Experience with business data, reporting or BI
- Understanding of web-based technologies (JSON, JavaScript)
- Basic Linux knowledge (not required)
- Awareness of AI-driven tooling (no deep experience required)
- Proactive, dynamic problem solver
