Role Purpose: The Digital Marketing Executive will support the planning, delivery and evaluation of WightFibre’s marketing activity across digital and offline channels. Working closely with the Marketing Director and wider business stakeholders, this role plays a key part in delivering campaigns that build brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support business growth. This role is supported by a Digital Marketing (Degree Apprenticeship) BA (Hons), providing structured training alongside hands‑on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaigns & Delivery: Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives; Assist with campaign briefs, schedules, budgets and post‑campaign evaluation; Coordinate multiple marketing activities to agreed deadlines.
  • Digital & Content Marketing: Help manage and update WightFibre’s digital channels, including website, social media and email; Support the creation of engaging content (copy, graphics, video briefs) aligned to brand guidelines; Assist with SEO activities and basic performance analysis (web analytics, campaign metrics).
  • Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Work collaboratively with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Operations) to support marketing initiatives; Liaise with external agencies and suppliers where required (design, print, digital, PR).
  • Brand & Communications: Ensure all marketing materials are on‑brand, accurate and consistent; Support employer branding, community initiatives, awards and PR activity; Assist with events, sponsorships and local community campaigns.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on campaign performance using appropriate tools and data sources; Help evaluate marketing activity to inform future improvements and insights.
  • Apprenticeship & Learning: Actively participate in the Digital Marketing (Degree Apprenticeship) BA (Hons) apprenticeship programme; Complete all required training modules, assignments and End Point Assessment; Apply learning directly to the workplace to deliver real business impact.

Skills & Behaviours

  • Essential: Genuine interest in marketing, communications and digital media; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks; Good attention to detail and a creative mindset; Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
  • Desirable: Some experience or knowledge of marketing, social media or content creation; Basic understanding of digital tools (social platforms, analytics); Interest in data, insight and campaign performance.

Entry Requirements (Apprenticeship): Aged 16+ and eligible for apprenticeship funding; GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred; Candidates may be new to marketing or existing employees looking to upskill.
