The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking to recruit experienced Pipe Fitters to join our engineering department. The role involves carrying out pipe fitting, cold forming, press-fitting, high pressure coupling (hydraulic etc), cutting, gluing, electrofusion welding, threading/screwing etc.

The ideal candidates will have the following knowledge and experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in shipbuilding or similar manufacturing industry
  • Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 or above in a relevant qualification
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics etc. and complete quality control documentation ensuring standards are met.

The ideal candidate will be a true team player; be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces in all weather conditions. Experience of mentoring apprentices would be desirable though not essential.
