Role Summary
As Commissioning Trials Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning of ships.
The successful candidate will conduct tests required by classification societies and/or maritime authorities, as well as those necessary to obtain a provisional navigation permit. You will ensure that the results of dockside and sea trials meet contractual and functional requirements.
You will also organize and participate in the vessel’s contractual and acceptance tests alongside the customer and/or their representatives, following the criteria and definitions outlined in the technical specifications or contract.
The Ideal Candidate
Will have experience as a seafarer and working within a shipyard. Possess excellent technical knowledge of ships, particularly in mechanics, electrical systems, navigation electronics, and refrigeration.
Be IT literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A high level of safety awareness and the ability to analyze and interpret data are also essential skills.
