As Wight Shipyard Co. continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Trials Manager to join our Project Management Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for the commissioning and trials of our vessels, coordinating dockside and sea trials and working closely with customers, suppliers, classification societies and maritime authorities through to final vessel acceptance and delivery.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Relevant seafaring and shipyard or shipowner experience
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems and equipment
- Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
- A proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality
The role will be based primarily at our shipyard in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, with some travel to our OCEA facilities in France and occasional international travel.
