We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Prescription Clerk / Pharmacy Technician to join our team, working up to 30 hours per week. You will be working as part of a multi-skilled team in a busy and innovative GP Practice in Freshwater, Isle of Wight.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process prescription requests
- Handle patient queries
- Liaise with clinicians at all levels
- Maintain accurate processing and record keeping
- Provide strong and confident communication with patients and colleagues
Qualifications and requirements
- Pleasant and articulate manner
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
- Good computer/keyboard skills
- Ability to use own initiative in a busy and occasionally challenging environment
- Experience preferred but training is available for the right candidate
Salary dependent on skills and experience.
