Are you a band 5 registered nurse with an interest in diabetes? Do you want to work in a motivated, forward thinking team? We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team on a full time basis.

With support, guidance and mentorship we will help develop your knowledge and skills across all aspects of our community diabetes service, working towards sign off of competencies to become a band 6 diabetes specialist nurse (DSN) within an anticipated 6 to 12 month period. Entering the service at band 5 level, we will work with you to develop skills and knowledge to complete the competencies required to work as a band 6 diabetes specialist nurse within our community settings. We anticipate this will take between 6-12 months.

You will gain the skills and knowledge to help support and manage people with diabetes referred to the service within a defined population as well as provide diabetes advice and guidance to other health care professionals.
