We have exciting opportunities to join our CAMHS Liaison Team at Hampshire Hospitals (Winchester & Basingstoke), as a CAMHS Senior Liaison Practitioner. The CAMHS Liaison Service is an acute mental health crisis assessment service. It offers the following:

  • Assessment of children and young people who have presented at Hospital with acute mental health concerns such as self-harm, overdose and suicidal ideation
  • Liaising and building positive relationships with hospital staff and wider network services such as social care and schools
  • Supervision and training for staff at the hospital
  • Consultation and advice for staff at the hospital and partner agencies
  • Safe discharge and follow up plan from the hospital
