We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced clinician to lead our Neuro Vocational Rehabilitation Service (VRS) in Southampton.
VRS is an OT led service dedicated to working with people with a variety of predominantly neuro conditions including Stroke, Brain Injury, MS, Spinal Injury & Long Covid.
Intervention aims to support an individual to achieve goals to succeed in a vocation and return to employment.
Rehab is tailored to meet the needs of the individual, with the outpatient setting offering facilities that include a workshop, kitchen, IT suite and garden.
Rehab can include a group workshop to complete individual project work, the 'Building Skills for Work' group programme and 1:1 OT sessions.
The post holder will have post graduate experience which should include some specific neuro clinical experience, excellent leadership skills and evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience of service improvement projects or audits is desirable.
The post holder will be supported by our Service Leads and work closely with other team members including OTs, Rehab Assistants and admin support.
