Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS are looking for an applied psychologist or psychological therapist to support the development of an effective treatment pathway across primary care services within the Southampton Enhance Mental Health Primary Care Team.
Role and responsibilities
In this role, you will help us develop and evaluate our enhanced mental health service in Southampton. You will devote time to direct clinical work including specialist psychological assessments, formulations, groups and individual therapy. You will also at times offer supervision and training to staff within the service.
This post will be a mixture of working from Frobisher House and working remotely.
Qualifications and registration
This post would also be suitable for someone about to qualify as an Applied Psychologist and who will be registering with the HCPC or newly qualified as a Psychological Therapist and registering with the BABCP. Banding would be adjusted until registration is approved.
Hours
While this post is for 30 hours, if applicants are particularly interested in full time please contact to discuss this as there may be other opportunities for hours available within other psychology teams in the division.
