We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and experienced Band 7 Specialist Safeguarding Nurse to join the Hampshire Children's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work at the heart of safeguarding, where timely, high-quality decision-making can change lives and improve children's outcomes.

As a MASH Specialist Safeguarding Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in researching and assessing health information and you will work with partner agencies to support the protection and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, you will contribute your clinical expertise to inform risk assessments, promote early intervention, and ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed quickly and effectively, working within existing legal frameworks.

You will work alongside another Specialist Nurse to jointly lead and manage the skilled Hampshire Children's MASH team comprising of practitioners and admin support. You will bring strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, a passion for safeguarding, the ability to work collaboratively and your ability to be flexible and responsive.

Experience in safeguarding, children's health services, or public health is highly desirable and essential to support with improving vulnerable children's outcomes. You will have experience in auditing and providing clear, insightful reports to identify and improve service delivery.
